Seasons of a Friend

Light green sprouting branch,

fresh to dawn's moist layer of dew.

Outside, birds chirp a new dance.

Gentle beauty touches friends like you.

Ray after ray -- after ray beats down,

Summer flowers under deep warm skies.

Rain drops cool and wash the ground,

Nature's truth, no friendship lies.

Trees spread their leaves creating a bond,

floating graciously, to the floor of the earth.

Thin curtains of ice across a brilliant pond.

A friendship new, given all it's worth.

Icicles glow from glorious sun light.

An eternal heart of a fiery love,

from deep within a friend so bright,

shining in all seasons from above.

Fantasy Dreams

Entering the castle,

walls of magical skin tapestry,

no doors around,

no pictures found.

Windows draped with silk,

bed posts draped with lace,

sheets of satin purple,

scent of a warm embrace.

Little beige butterflies fly

through the window

glowing yellow,

fluttering up and down

around wrapped arms.

Smoothly their warmth

runs into this love,

until a kiss

under the floating moon

over a beautiful pond

shining pale lace

surrounded by trees

with swaying green leaves.

Clouds rush out of the sky,

they behold clear blackness

of mystical stars.

He gazes into brown soul stones,

as hearts beat to be together,

her hair, smothering smooth shoulders,

a passionate scent rises, flows inside

filling up his soul.

Light wind gentle brushes her dress,

his sword falls to the ground.

Stars twinkle and glimmer her crown,

a glow against beautiful brown hair,

fresh with desires of the night air.

Underneath an oak tree,

on a mountain rock,

overlooking the countryside,

bright sun beats wide.

His hand holds hers

diving into the water,

salty sea-fresh,

black journey under the surface.

Raising out into the arms of her heart,

grasping tight hand in hand,

diving into the water,

to a coral world.
