Inspirational Journey
I anxiously climb into a deluxe tour bus yearning to escape the oppression of crowded streets, thick with smog, reminiscing upon yesterday, of verdant greens and sweet breezes wandering beyond urban limits to inhale nature's essence.
The flashing of tortured pavement that whips by my head laying on the tinted window of the traveling bus, purring with speed, freeing my head from the glass, to gaze out at the snow glazed mountains feeling my wistful heart thumping with anticipation.
I continually stare admiring the gorgeous scenery sensing a crawling motion of the bus coming to a temporary yet desired stop, stepping off this grand vehicle to breathe in the fresh evergreen air promenading free and adventurously down into a valley filled with ornamental ash.
I timidly board the scheduled bus hesitating to leave reminding myself of the ultimate destination that awaits, sweet and true, enjoying the beautiful land unique to my eyes, plentifully full of life, discovering an enwrapping sensation as we move deeper into treacherous cliffs.
To see a tall wooden sign at the village entrance knowing we have finally arrived to cherish this promised day, we explore a mountain spring cavern, yet encountering a cloying stench, damp and heavy, forcing us to quickly retrace our steps, slipping up top to the partially bubbling green spring.
I stand upon a man-made structure that hugs the olden spring beholding the magnificent landscape beneath the shadowing clouds, overlooking a gentle river flowing refreshingly along its natural way as I feel Banff's precious winds drifting wonderfully around me, in Alberta.
