Choice

In the days long ago,

of the times there were Jews

and Romans and Gentiles.

Jesus, of Nazareth

was handed the choice

from the hand of Satan.

He shew Jesus futures,

battles of death,

battles in his name.

He asketh Jesus,

"Do you want to die for this?"

to endure the pain,

the humiliation, the betrayal

by his own people

for the coming spilt blood.

He tempteth Jesus,

"Ask your father to deliver you."

to end the hate,

the poverty, the war

forever, for true peace

for all men and women.

Jesus cries out,

"No, I will keep my father's will

and sacrifice myself for love!"

to show the people,

to save the people

from all their sins always,

to give man and woman

the choice.

The Role of Judas

Constantly forgiven

receiving kisses from

Jesus, who knows betrayal.

A chosen desciple,

never an apostle

sent out to preach the gospel.

Constantly without faith

and Jesus understood

for he knew the role of Judas.

Chosen through God's own will,

a key part to his plan

to save the people of the world.

Constantly laid the blame

beneath his pouring shame

he was forgiven by Jesus.

Chosen was his soul,

t'was the role of Judas

to kiss his Lord in betrayal.

God's Lullaby

True to my heart,

I pray unto his son

simple words;

he knows every dream.

Chills flow,

dripping into tingles

like a hallowed rain

splashes my spirit.

The light of his love,

consumes all darkness

from the crystal flute.

Another piece of him,

lets the dove's love

in

another heart to sleep.
